As 2006 comes to a close, we'd like to wish all of you a safe and happy holiday and a wonderful New Year 2007! Final deadlines approaching for Xmas shipping in USA Shop

Hi everyone,

For any of you last-minute shoppers out there, just a reminder that we are reaching the final (final!) deadlines for shipping by Xmas in our USA Shop. Last chance to order with 2-day is Monday the 18th, and final call for the season is express shipping on Tuesday the 19th. So if you've been thinking about placing an order, don't delay!

This week both stores are featuring "dropping science", a retro-style pun design. Available also in glow-in-the-dark print!

December 14th is the last day for 4-day shipping - USA Shop

Just a reminder, tomorrow (Dec 14th) is the last day to order with 4-day shipping (USA Shop) and still have your order received by Xmas. Shipping starts at only $6.39. After the 14th, there is a few more days until the final Xmas ordering cutoff but it involves express shipping and is a lot pricier. So don't delay! Place your final orders by tomorrow.

Shipping guarantees for Xmas have already passed in our EU shop, unfortunately, but email gift certificates are always available, never late, and give your recipient the gift of choice. Also valid towards custom orders.

USA and EU T-shirts of the week: 10 Dec 2006

This week we have glow-in-the-dark infinity symbol t-shirts on sale in both stores, as well as a cool new women's underwear version of the same design in flock print. Stop by and check it out!

Standard shipping is no longer guaranteed for Christmas in either shop, but the USA shop still has guaranteed 4-day or faster shipping available until the 14th. Another flexible option is a gift certificate, if you don't know what to get or aren't sure of a size. Email us for more details.

Don't forget, this is the last week to order with standard shipping and still have your order arrive in time for Xmas. The US store cutoff is Dec 6 and the EU store is Dec 7. You can still order standard shipping after that but the chances are higher of your order not reaching the recipient in time.

Hi everyone, we were a bit delayed today with getting the t-shirt of the week out, but this week in the USA shop we'll be featuring one of the classics: the caffeine t-shirt! Customization available, email us if you'd like something special.

Meanwhile our 3 Euro discount sale continues in the EU shop, but not for much longer! Sale ends Thursday.

YellowIbis presents: the new Holiday Gift Guide!

We're now officially launching a little side project of ours that's been beta for a while, just in time for the holidays. It's the YellowIbis Gift Guide (click here to open), a compilation of unique gifts that fall into several categories: practical gifts useful to the working scientist, science-themed gifts, and science-themed children and young adult books. We think you'll find our focus and our choice of gift ideas to be unique, and we hope it will help you find the perfect gift for your favorite scientist.

The guide is still in its early stages and we need your input to help it grow... If you have a wonderful idea that you don't see listed, please consider submitting it! We love to hear from you.

Believe it or not, it's already November, and this week we'll be starting our pre-holiday Fall Sale!

In the USA shop, we have a $5 off shipping for $25+ orders, as well as volume discounts. Sale starts Monday and will be offered until Nov 19th.

The EU shop is featuring a 3 Euro discount off any purchase, and also a volume discount. Sale in effect now and will be offered until the end of the month.

We extended our big National Chemistry Week sale by another 2 days to give everyone a chance who might have been affected by our outage on Saturday night. Thanks again to everyone for their patience.

Celebrate National Chemistry Week with our USA & EU Special Sale

This week is National Chemistry Week, and to help celebrate we have a very special sale: we're putting ALL of our "Chemical Structures" style t-shirts on sale! Yep, all of them! We don't do this very often, and this will be for one week only, so get 'em while they're hot and show your chemistry pride. And don't forget, we do custom orders including your favorite molecule, so if you don't see what you are looking for in the shops then please email us.

Sale runs in both stores from October 22-28th. Our special glow-in-the-dark Hallowe'en t-shirts are still available until the 31st, and on sale for only $17.99.

Also this week, you'll notice we have a brand new site design. We've got hundreds of unique products in both shops and we hope this new layout will make it even easier to find what you're looking for. We'll also be adding more science disciplines as time goes on.

T-Shirts of the Week are now posted - 01 Oct 2006

The t-shirt of the week has now been updated, and both stores are featuring the "occupation: mad scientist" design. We also have them at a special sale price of $16.99 / E 16.90. Email us for a custom color combo!

Here by popular demand: kids' t-shirts and baby bibs!

We've had a lot of requests for kids and baby clothing, so we're now stocking selected items in both stores!

The USA store has kids' t-shirts in white, black, and royal blue, and in addition to the designs you see in the store, we can also make custom prints just like for the adult t-shirts. We also now have baby bibs in blue, pink, and white.

Similarly in the EU store, we now have kids' t-shirts in white, black, blue, yellow, and red, as well as baby bibs in blue, pink, and white. We also have baby t-shirts for custom printing (not shown in shop), which look like little baseball t-shirts.

Welcome to YellowIbis' New Blog!

Hi everyone! We've finally had a chance to move our news section to a true blog format. This means some important changes for us and for you: the opportunity for feedback, better news updating, and true RSS feeds. Our previous "t-shirt only" RSS feeds have not been working great so we look forward to offering a better solution to you.

We welcome your comments and feedback and look forward to hearing more from all of you out there. We currently have our comments set to 'moderate', but our policy is that we will publish all legitimate comments to our blog.

YellowIbis will be continuing to grow and expand its selection this year, and we hope you will stay tuned for the many exciting things we will be bringing out. We also want to hear more about what YOU want! So please add our feed and feel free to comment as we go along.
